2. Description of the Service
EESTEC ScheduleBridge is a tool that:
- operates as a Telegram bot;
- allows you to connect your university timetable to your Google Calendar;
- uses Google OAuth 2.0 and the Google Calendar API to create, update, and/or delete calendar events corresponding to your timetable;
- may offer additional configuration options (such as group selection, calendar choice, and time-related settings).
The Service is provided “as is” for convenience and organization of your timetable. It is not intended for critical or emergency use.
3. Relationship with Telegram and Google
- The Service is independent from Telegram and Google.
- Telegram Messenger LLP and Google LLC (and their affiliates) are separate providers with their own terms and privacy policies.
- The Service is not endorsed, certified, or sponsored by Telegram or Google.
- Your use of Telegram and Google services is governed solely by your agreements with those providers.
4. Eligibility
You may use the Service only if:
- you have a valid Telegram account and a valid Google account;
- you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you;
- you are at least the minimum age required to use Telegram and Google services in your jurisdiction (and in any case not under 13 years of age).
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that these conditions are met.
5. Access to Your Google Account
To enable synchronization, you must:
1. Connect your Google account using Google OAuth 2.0; and
2. Grant the Service the requested permission(s), including the Google Calendar API scope `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar`.
By granting access, you authorize us to:
- access your Google Calendar(s) within the scope granted;
- create, update, and delete calendar events related to your timetable;
- store and use OAuth tokens as necessary to perform ongoing synchronization without requiring you to re-authorize each time.
You can revoke this access at any time via your Google Account settings. After revocation, synchronization stops and we can no longer access your Google Calendar.
6. Permitted Use
You may use the Service only:
- for personal, non-commercial purposes;
- to synchronize your academic timetable with your Google Calendar;
- in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
You agree not to:
- misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it by automated means not provided by us;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to obtain the source code of any part of the Service, except where permitted by law;
- use the Service in a way that violates Google’s or Telegram’s terms, or any third-party rights;
- use the Service for spam, abusive behavior, or any illegal activity.
We reserve the right to monitor use of the Service to ensure compliance with these Terms and to protect the Service, users, and third parties.
7. Use of Google APIs and Google API Services User Data Policy
The Service uses Google APIs, including the Google Calendar API, and processes Google user data in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- Google user data accessed via Google APIs is used only to provide and maintain timetable–calendar synchronization and related functionality requested by you.
- Google user data obtained via Google APIs is not sold.
- Google user data obtained via Google APIs is not used for personalized advertising or for creating marketing profiles unrelated to the Service’s core functionality.
- Access to Google user data is limited to what is necessary to operate the Service.
By using the Service, you also agree to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy as a user, where relevant.
8. Privacy
Our processing of personal data, including Telegram data, Google data, timetable data, and technical logs, is described in our separate Privacy Policy available at:

By using the Service, you acknowledge that your personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding privacy matters, the Privacy Policy will prevail.
9. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- the accuracy and completeness of the timetable information and settings you provide (e.g., group selection, calendar selection, time zone);
- managing your calendars and reviewing the events created by the Service;
- any consequences of granting access to the wrong Google account or calendar;
- ensuring that events created or modified by the Service meet your own needs and do not conflict with your other obligations.
You are also responsible for:
- keeping your devices and Telegram and Google accounts secure;
- promptly revoking access and/or contacting us if you suspect unauthorized use of the Service in connection with your accounts.
10. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (excluding user-generated content and third-party content such as Telegram and Google materials) are owned by EESTEC LC St. Petersburg or its licensors.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service solely in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service relies on third-party platforms and services, including:
- Telegram (Telegram Bot API);
- Google (Google OAuth 2.0, Google Calendar API);
- hosting and infrastructure providers.
We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of such third parties. Your use of their services is exclusively governed by their own terms and policies.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of defects, nor that synchronization will always be accurate or timely.
- We make no warranty regarding compatibility of the Service with your specific device, timetable source, or calendar configuration.
The Service is intended as a convenience tool and must not be relied upon as the sole source of information for critical, safety-related, medical, or emergency purposes.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service;
- our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall be limited to the greater of:
- (a) the amount you have paid for the use of the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (if any), or
- (b) 0 (ZERO).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, such as liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where such limitation is not permitted.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EESTEC LC St. Petersburg, its officers, members, and contributors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
- your use of the Service;
- your violation of these Terms; or
- your violation of any rights of a third party or any applicable law.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may, at our discretion and without liability, suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, if:
- you breach these Terms or misuse the Service;
- we are required to do so by law, court order, or a competent authority;
- we discontinue the Service or any part of it for technical, security, or business reasons.
You may stop using the Service at any time, including by:
- ceasing to interact with the Telegram bot;
- revoking the Service’s access to your Google account; and
- requesting deletion of your data according to the Privacy Policy.
Upon termination or revocation:
- your access to the Service features may cease;
- synchronization with your Google Calendar stops;
- we may delete or retain your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and legal requirements.
Existing events previously created in your Google Calendar by the Service may remain until you remove or modify them yourself.
16. Changes to the Service and to These Terms
We may:
- modify, update, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time; and
- revise these Terms from time to time.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of these Terms. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice via appropriate channels (e.g., website or Telegram bot).
Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Unless otherwise required by mandatory law:
- these Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Service are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules;
- any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive (or, where applicable, non-exclusive) jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
If you are a consumer and mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide you with additional rights or different mandatory rules, those rules remain unaffected.
